Don--Thanks for your information and interest! No, I did not get the Sonata. It's not that it's not a very good car; the car plus the 0% 72 month financing were very appealing and enticing. However, my wife and I made the decision to keep the Camry at this time. We figured where could we get a comparable 2005 car with less than 30k for $11k plus? Knock on wood, but we've had no problems thus far with the vehicle. In addition, it will be paid off in less than 3 years! I really like the Hyundai Sonata and Azera, and down the road, who knows...! Again, I appreciate the contributions from yourself and others! May you all have a great 2008!!--Alton

Well... I don't know about everyone else all I can do is speak about my own experience. I was always a Ford man and had extremely very good luck with them. However the gas mileage was getting to me. Longf story shoret my brother-in-law shows up from out of town with an '06 Sonata. I drove it for a few miles and fell DEEPLY in love. I keep saying that if Detroit could come up with that kind of engineering we wouldn't have to worry about competition, excluding the labor rate. Anyway, I wnated the LX or as it is now known Limited. It took me almost 4 months to locate one and it was a cherry!!! I have only put about 4k on her, and have yet to have any preoblems AT ALL!!!!!!! I have driven almost everything on the market, considering I was on the road selling for 40 years, so I know when I'm behind the wheel of a decent vehicle Agfain, NOT ONE PROBLEM. others hare hearing things I don't, so I don't know what to tell you, other than Hyundai has the the absolute worst dealer network I have ever seen in the auto business, If you do have a problem, and it's not a warranty issue take it to an independent. A quick example, I go to the dealer and tell the"SERVICE MGR" that my brothers car has a cable in the trrunk and mine doesn't, and tell him it is an emergency release bcable for the gas cap, this blooming idiot has the unmitigated gall!!!!! toi tell my car car does not have that on it. I go home, remove two plastic retainerspull away the liner and guess what I found? Talk about a shithead who knows NOTHING about the vehicle they are dealing with, so I guess I am making my point. It's a great machine and love it more each time I climb behind the wheel, just one mans opinion.
