Replying to: smartguy06 (Dec 21, 2007 6:44 pm) One comment I would make is I believe BWM started offering a 6 speed vice 5 speed auto in 2006 compared to 2005. My wife had a 2001 330Xi with a 5 speed auto, and then I had a 2006 330Xi with a 6 speed auto, and I definitely preferred the 6 speed.   This is not quite apples to apples, as the 2006 engine had more pwer than the 2001, but I felt the 6 speed AT was more responsive and flexible, and it had better gearing for highway cruising- engine did not have to rev as high on the interstate.   FWIW, I've seen many postings by owners of G35s (and M35s) noting that the Infiniti 5 speed AT is very responsive, but the car lacks an overdrive gear such that engine revs on the interstate are very noticeable.   Bruce Replies to this message: smartguy06 (Dec 24, 2007 6:55 pm)

I did drove g35 and felt it had all the gadgets I was looking for in a far .   The AT on infiniti seems responsive but all the gadgets looks like they were cluttered . Now I need to decide if to get a car with rear wheel or all deal. I dont get that much snow in NJ so is it really worth the money paying extra for it
