There were 2 packages of black oval plugs in my glove box. The salesman did not know what they are for. It says on the package: "Insert these rubber plugs into the holes of the center floor side member extensions". I could not find any information on these oval plugs in my manual. Does anybody know what these are and do I need to find out where to put them?

On the "underbody". Your dealer should have installed them.

These plugs are supposed to be installed prior to delivery, but are often forgotten. My dealer installed two and left two for me to do. If you look under the side of the vehicle, to the inside of the painted rocker panel there's a frame member that runs along the edge of the underbody. At each end of this frame member there's a hole that the plugs fit into, two on each side.

Thank you. I went ahead and put these in.
