1999 V6. Changed oil and filter as always at
95,000. About 96,000 noticed oil leak. Appears
to be from oil pan area not valve cover. Filter and
plug OK. Seems to only happen when driving on
free way (70-75 mph) trips. Seems ok when
driving local (10-15 miles at 55-60 mph).
Snugged up all the oil pan bolts I could reach
and no help. Wanted to check PCV but I can't
find it. My parts dealer says it has one according
to his book. Need to know where PCV is and
any other ideas why this sudden oil leak.
Thanks

i have a 2004 2.5 v6 and the pcv valve is located on the drivers side of the engine in the Rear of the engine. it is a thread in type. it threads into the valve cover. I had a hard time finding mine, only cause i didnt know what i was looking at. I removed mine and soaked in it cleaner and replaced it. the replacements from the local parts stores werent the same as oem. Im not sure but i think it requires a 17mm wrench to remove the pcv...
