Does your Expedition have wind noise at freeway speeds? The wind sounds like it's coming from the door seals, like it's not shut as tight as it should. Dealer replaced outer weather stripping, but it's still there. FYI, this is not the mirror noise-they replaced those. Replying to: dgobel (Sep 24, 2009 8:29 am) Take some wide blue masking tape. Tape all the seams on the windshield. Tape from the glass to the body. Drive it. If the wind noise is still there, it's the design of the car and not much can be done. You can do this for the mirror too. Tape the edge of the mirror that is on the back side-tape it so you remove the edge so to speak. If this helps, new mirrors that have been redesigned can be installed, but you may have to pay for them and they are not cheap.
