I had the same problem with my 98 Accord -- no place to plug in the I-Pod. I solved my problem by purchasing an 08 EX-L Accord. It was pricey, but I can't believe everything that came with the I-Pod plug-in. . . . . .

bug4,
what do yuo mean by the ipod plugin on the 08 EXL? did you get the optional link for connecting ipods or are you referring to the phono jack to plugin any type of mp3 player? I also have the 08 EXL w/ navi and I don't believe it has the dedicated ipod plugin. Thanks.

Yes -- I'm just referring to the 1/8" jack for any mp3 device. In my post, I was justy trying to be funny . . . suggesting I bought an i-pod jack and an entire Accord came with it . . . . [this is a major set-back in my dream of becoming a comedian ]

Actually I did get the humor!!.
I was just trying to clarify the ipod portion since I know Honda offered links (at least with the previous year models) that would allow for complete control of the Apple's Ipod. I use my mp3 player (non-ipod) with jack often, but not as much as I did with the other car. The in-dash mp3 disk player is awsome eventhough it does not provide the capacity of a typical portable mp3 player. I just rotate the disks once in awhile.

This technique also works with mint floss, too, in case you were wondering.

hondamatic1, is there a factory item for the remote start? If so, do you know of any problems with the remote start? I am purchasing a 08 V6 Coupe w/navi this week and want to know if it is worth getting a remote start or if the possible headaches make it not worth while. I am looking for a remote start that leaves me with one remote I don't want to carry around another clicker! Thanks for any light you can shed on this question.
