Volvo S70 Climate Control Questions

I just had mine done by a mechanic. It took him 8 hours and it cost $1500 labor. The condenser was only $150. You have to take the entire dash out of the car.

Can anyone tell me if (1998 s-70 )(B5254t) engine will replace a B5254s, the block is cracked and I was hoping to put in the B5254t in its place Dj
