It will be very interesting to see what happens when people "short max" on upcoming retiring stocks...I'm looking at you 1-Series and Pilot...I wonder how many buys that will elicit when they get to near IPO prices...the Sept. 1st and 2nd will be a mad house, I think, but the holiday will be an unknown factor, I think, will the east coasters get in the west coasters and crash the servers? That might be a serious load test...or it may be the same 10 odd percent of dedicated players like now...I dunno, I'm waiting for my 5 million cash payout in 27 days right now...

yeah man it took me a couple months to figure out the way the market reacts when you buy different amount of stock. of course the more money you have invested the more you can potentially make, the key is to get your money on the stocks that have the most amount of movement (people how dump off huge amounts of stock at a time can drop the price down to 20% of its worth, if you get into a stock for a great price don't just turn around and sell immediately, I let the price get back to normal b4 selling. ALSO REMEMBER that the more of one stock you sell the less money you will get on the trade price, so to maximize profit you might want to sell part of the single stock investment then when the price bounces back sell some more, and so on and so forth... hope some of this info helps, I learned the hard way about some of these strategies

No cheaters any more?
Hope so.

Yeah, the last couple of months have been very strange compared to when we were in the running. I've seen some new or depleted accounts gain more in one day than we made in a month. Some even made chung look like bit of a slacker

Yes, I've caught a couple players and have had to eliminate their duplicate accounts and have docked them for their cheating. We try and stay on top of the action, but sometimes it takes a week or two to eliminate suspicious play. July was a crazy month -- even by previous standards. Hopefully, this will begin to slow down, as I eliminated one particularly egregious cheater.

hotkot, kotnew, kotnight, kotland, kotfront, kotkro, kot15, kotsmtp- is there some secrect about the name kot that i don't know about?

That sounds like a glitch. That is an inactive user no longer in the game. I have no idea why that name would show up on the leaderboard when you make those trades. It doesn't have lasting impact on the leader positions.
If you could describe exactly what you see (what you do, then what you look at before/after you complete your transaction) and then what you see once the leaders page updates.
We'll look into this further.
Thanks,
