I recently had my driver's side mirror thrown into my window by a construction cone. Taking out almost all the mirror glass. This is a $400 replacement, not fun.Does anyone have a cheaper solution? Glass replacement? Spare mirror? Install info?
Anything to help.

File an insurance claim against the city where it happened, they ought to be responsible for their cones and resulting damage.
