I recently saw an older 911 Cab (1980's or early 1990's vintage) parked with the top down and it sure didn't look like it had as much room as my 997. If I could marry a car... This is the car I would marry. It has the right balance of everything....You can live with it every day....It's well built...well engineered....It has a unique personality....Its not gaudy or complicated like the Porsche 911 Turbo....It's not a wild child like the Porsche GT2 and GT3....It's not an Italian exotic but you can actually drive it more than once a month....This is the car for me

Replying to: hotrod81 (Nov 17, 2007 5:01 am) Greetings: I am exactly the same size as I was when I had a 1977 911S in 1978 ( Okay a bit large at 255# but still 255# )When I cleaned my car, ( I am fastidious about clean cars !!) I had very little trouble cleaning the rear windows and trim. I now own a 2006 C2S coupe..it is alot smaller in the rear seat area. I can hardly enter the back seat area now. If you look at the 2006 from the side, the roof panel slopes down very quickly after a buldge above the front seat area. As far as back seat passengers... nope. I like to have the driving experience alone... no blabber from a passenger , no radio , no screaming kids.. the only screaming I want to hear is the engine. My wife says I ' m stingy..I don't want her in there either. Very few things in my life are those that I consider mine... after 35 years of being married.sharing is common place, no it's everything. but when it come to my Porsche.... that is 110% mine. Don't bother me when I'm driving my 997 ......enjoy your cars Chromedome... North county San Diego, CA
