I'm getting ready to buy the springs and shocks&struts for my 03...Says it brings it up 1.75" and has a better ride etc. Before I go and spend some money, does anyone have brand on their ride and "is" it worth it? Thanks for the heads up. |

Hey there....anyone have any good info/experience on replacing the shocks/struts on a 96-00 bodystyle SE? It's looking(feeling?) like a need new front struts(dealer said they're getting soft/spongy).....and, my rear shocks are showing rusted through spots from East coast winters... My front struts are stock nissan part(s), replaced by the dealer about 4 years and 50K miles ago. My rears are KYB Gas-adjusts that I installed myself about 3-4 years ago as well(I've lost track of time!)....one thing I've alway hated is that with my "mis-matching" rear/front set-up, it's always looked "jacked up" a couple inches in the rear...I hate it. So, hitting all 4 corners, is there a good all-around set up anyone can recommend? I know aftermarket support is pretty light for suspension overall, even less for front struts.... my off-road days are over on thisone, at 156K and 4x4 "iffy" now...I'm running more street oriented toyo 265-65-15's on light- weight 15X8 aftermarket rims. Id like to see it look "EVEN" again, back to front...... |
