The Veracruz has been selected as 1 of 34 new vehicles earning the title of "safest vehicles" by the IIHS. However, there is a disclaimer attached to the Veracruz. It states "built after August 2007". I couldn't find an explanation for this disclaimer. I'm not aware that Hyundai made any changes to the safety equipment as it transitioned from 2007 to 2008 model years. Why would my earlier built Veracruz be any less safe than what is currently rolling off the assembly line? Any feedback? Replies to this message: ergsum (Nov 15, 2007 10:35 am)
