Comparison Test: 2008 Honda Accord Coupe vs. 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe - The 3.5-liter SOHC V6 in the Accord produces 268 horsepower at 6,200 rpm, while the 3.5-liter DOHC V6 under the Altima's hood is good for 270 hp at 6,000 rpm. Despite the edge in torque output that the Nissan V6's 258 pound-feet has over the Honda's 248 lb-ft, the Accord feels as if it is the twist-meister here. (more)

kind of hard with a compro like that. according to edmunds the alti is a pile of junk and the accord will probably outperform the GT-r.

These two cars with auto transmissions plus the Solara, G6, and the rest of the coupe field compared. I think these two coupes were compared because the stand out over the others in the market. I really believe the Altima Coupe would perform better and present an overall better package than it did in this review if it were compared using the CVT. Using my test criteria I think these two cars would be neck and neck and among the best of coupe field.

Reading the comparison, I get the feeling the Altima coupe is the "Girly-man car".

Regarding the G6 and Solara, they aren't performance coupes, they are mostly just crusing cars and the Solara was marketed for women, the G6 isn't really a performance car either. The Altima coupe is more of a performance car then all of them, the Accord Coupe is a blend of performance and crusing car...
 
I love my Altima coupe, its a 2.5S fully loaded, I dont have to prove myself to he world how manly I am to have the 3.5SE.. The 2.5S is fine enough for me.

Drove both the Altima and Honda Coupes(V6 6 speeds) the same day....and bought the Honda! The Honda did everything better!
