tspaventa - i totally appreciate your perspective. i have to say that for someone in a different life situation (40s, into outdoor sports/ active, no kids, LOVE OUR dogs...tote firiends when they deserve it ) - this is an ideal vehicle. the space for the back seat if needed (or if not) is fantastic.

the space is very conformative - but yes, if you have kids, you may not have made a well-informed decision. i guess it is a lesson learned, bc you are hard pressed to "return" a car b/c you didn't understand clearly stated specs.

good luck, and i hope you can figure out how to love your murano! it's worth loving!!!

If space is a problem--leave one of the kids with grandma next vacation. Really cuts down on the bickering.

I wasn't the one complaining about the lack of space. I'm the one who totally loves my murano. There's enough space for us, the kids and all of our/their crap for weekend trips to the beach and the mountains. I love this so much I turned in a 2006 at the end of the lease for a 2009. No regrets.

Not too many problems posted 2007 and up. Wouldn't be afraid of an 09 or 2010. The power train warranty will cover you for 5 years anyway.

Silver Accents for Black Roof Rails? by breinders

I just purchased a Super Black SL with black roof rails. I really like the silver accents on the roof rails on the LE. I think it ties nicely with the silver accent along the bottom.

Does anyone know if there is a kit that can be purchased to add the silver accents to the black roof rails?

If not, does anyone know what the cost would be (if it is even reasonably possible) to switch the black roof rails to the silver accented roof rails?

My Googling has turned up nothing. Thanks much.

I have got the 2009 TL. The LE still seems to have problems with tire vibrations.

So far there have been no problems. The vehicle drives very responsive and the transmission is smooth. There are no shifting jerks. We took it on a longer trip in August and the ride and XM radio made the trip very comfortable. The vehicle is quiet compared to our previous Honda Pilot. Generally, I think the vehicle is well designed.

Cheers

Back Seat Bose Audio Lousy? by smarty666

Hi, I'm trying to find information out, I have a 2010 Maxima SV with the Bose Audio and if your sitting in the front seats the sound experience is wonderful; however, if sitting in the backseats the experience is the total opposite; there are four speakers in the rear, one on each rear door and two big speakers in the back window housing; low audio comes out of the speakers on the rear doors and absolutely no audio/sound comes out of the two speakers in the rear window housing

as a result, if sitting in the back the audio sounds low and distant because there is virtually little audio/sound coming out of the rear speakers, none of which is from the two speakers closest to the rear passengers head in the rear window housing

the murano has the same bose audio set up as the maxima and altima, 5 speakers in the front and four in the back; does anyone who has the bose audio have the same issues as I do with the rear seat audio experience? Nissan tells me the rear window speakers are only for bass and no sound but I just can't believe it because when sitting in the back seat you can barely hear any audio and I've never had a car like this before, I want to make sure this is indeed the bose setup or if there is something electrically wrong with my car

any information, opinions, suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

...first, I don't have a Murano yet..just looking to get one in the next 5 months. I am not trying to be funny but did you check the balance and fade features of the Bose system?...for that matter these functions are for just about any radio..some times the simplest things go undetected and maybe that is the proble,,just my 2 cents and good luck to you
