Just turn the wipers on to intermittent. From there the wipers take over. It's in the manual in section 2 (can't remember the page).

the Murano S model does not have the Intellikey feature... you MUST put the fob in to turn the car on with the Start/Stop button... and creatures of habit, who pull the fob out when parking as if it is an ignition key, would not naturally ALSO push the Start/Stop button... so then we have a car in a garage with the engine running... do the math...

Some of the SL's have the slot in them too! It is an added feature to have the "no key" push start. I know it is quiet and all but the car beeps at you if you leave it running and step away from it with no key!

Sorry this post snuck by me some how - LOL! They are stumped at what the problem was. They pretty much chalked it to Operator Error until the Nissan Specialist (from corporate) came down to the dealership. He and the Service manager were standing in front of the car and the lights started turning off and on! He told the service manager it was possessed!

Compass on '09 Murano with Nav - Help

I have the nav in my '09 murano but there is no compass on the rearview mirror. The only compass I could find was a tiny half red/white arrow on the nav screen. Sometimes the proper direction is pointing with the red and sometimes with the white. This is nuts - I need to know the direction I am heading. Can anyone help? Thank you.

There are buttons on the bottom of the rear view mirror. One of them turns the compass on and off. Give it a try. I experienced this by just testing the buttons.
Hope this works for you.....

I have a 2009 SL with all of the add-ons and the buttons on my mirror are the Homelink buttons, no compass.

Typically if you have navigation you will not have the mirror option- compass indications on the mirror.
