Here's the information that you're looking for cxxviii128. Audi Financial Services' January buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2012 A5 Cabriolet Premium Plus without quattro with 10,000 miles per year are .00093 and 54%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 42-month lease are .00113 and 50%.

Hey Car_man,

Thanks for all of the information you provide. I am looking for something similar to cxxviii128. I am looking to lease an A5 Premium Cabriolet quattro. MSRP is 47025, and I have a sales price of $45200. Dealer came back with a 55% residual and .00215 MF. I'm thinking I should be able to get the lease around $650 a month, but that was with a 57% and .00138 that you had quoted in December. Dealer lease number is around $800. Do you have different buy rates for the A5 Cab quattro?

Thanks in advance!

#557 of 720 lease deal on a 2012 A5 coupe w/Prestige package by sjeffery2

Hi Car_Man,

I am looking at the above in Dallas, Tx. The MSRP is $49,650 and the dealer has indicated a willingness to discount it by $1,250. On a 42 month lease they're giving me a MF of .00267 and a residual of 46%. The MF seems really high. The dealer indicated the MF was for their top credit tier. What is the current residual and MF?

Thanks in advance.

Hi CarMan,

This is my first time leasing a car and I hear you are the "Go To" guy. I am trying to find the MF buy rate and residual value % on a 36M/12 or 15 month lease. Also, are there any marketing promotions or manufacturer to dealer incentives? Thank you!

You're very welcome kookyterp. The 55% residual value that you were quoted is correct for a 12,000 mile per year lease of this car, but the money factor that you were quoted is way out of whack. Audi Financial Services' January buy rate for the 2012 A5 Premium Cabriolet with quattro is only .00120 for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier

I suspect that the dealer is attempting to mark your car's money factor up to add additional back-end profit to your deal.

Hi Car_Man,
Can you tell me the current buy rate for the MF and residual for a 15k/year, 36 month lease on an A5 coupe prestige Auto transmission in Southern California? The MSRP is $49,500 ... I've gotten two different quotes from separate dealerships with different MFs. Also, are there any manufacturer to dealer incentives on this car? Or should i be happy if I get close to invoice price for a cap cost? Thanks, Alex
