Comparison Test: 2007-2008 Sport Sedans - This is exactly why we gathered this group of sport sedans. That is, to find out if the 2008 Cadillac CTS, 2007 Infiniti G35 Sport, 2008 Lexus IS 350 or 2008 Mercedes-Benz C350 Sport can topple the Bavarian champ — the 2007 BMW 335i. In the spirit of the segment, each car in the test is outfitted with sport package hardware — usually a stiffer suspension and bigger wheels and tires — and an automatic transmission. (more)

U sure have many options to choose from.

I have been considering a suv for sometime now.

Now I am thinking when I get a suv, I might consider a second car.

I am thinking about the audi a4. v4 how good will this be?

But wont the engine be noisy for the v4 then the v6?

But I have no idea about Audi cars never checked much about it.

Can any1 tell anything...

Yeah, I'm partial to 6 cylinder cars. I don't know if I could go back to the 4. And the coming A4 with the optional 6 would be very costly. I also have no experience with Audi.

Well, if you are considering Audi and don't need 4 doors, take a look at the A5/S5. What a terrific effort to build a beautiful touring/performance coupe, IMO. 1st Audi to make me consider giving up my beautiful '03 e39SP.

Audi achieved a goal of making a 55K (S5) car look like an 80K car. Solid performance from the 6-SP S5 I drove. Auto just now available in N.A.

Yea and the v4 engine will be very small then the twin turbo which for some reason bothers me. will the v6 will also have twin turbo.

I also dont have much experience like you but for some reason I am beginning to like audi more than bmw.

The new a4 really interests me but I know there will wont be much leg room in the back.

Well my first choice is lexus but IS is to small ES dont like much LS is big and expensive.

I agree if I was in the market for a coupe definitely the S5 would be my first choice.

Knowing that even the A4 wont have much leg room in the back I still prefer 4 door.

In the 2009 A4, only the 4 will be a turbo, not the 6.

I need to take a closer look at the IS, but based on my first look (which included sitting in the rear seats), my own personal feeling is that it was not too small. Guess it depends on what you are comparing it to and how much space you really need.

Everyone forgets the Lexus GS350....it's the sleeper in the Lexus line. Beautiful finish, 300+HP....not a camry with a lexus badge... MUCH nicer than either the ES or IS with some space in back. Lousy lease though which is why I'm not going that route....
