This jeep should be built. I would buy one in a heartbeat. Myself and my wife just bought a 2008 Jeep Wrangler unlimited X and we love it. However it is under powered. I hope that JEEP will offer a choice on some other power mills than the current v6

I have posted pictures of the Jeep (JT) on my page that show the spare tire now mounted on the tailgate.

I currently own a Toyota, but I would switch to Jeep in a heartbeat if I could buy a small truck like the JT with a diesel. Jeep brass ... with high fuel costs, there is real demand for a small fuel efficient and capable truck like this. BUILD IT!!! ... and please make a diesel option.

There have been rumors off and on for several years, and for various reasons, it always gets backlogged. Hopefully it'll make it out the gates in the next few years. Many of us would love the chance to own one.
