3rd ror head restraint removal? by rubenalonzo

Hello all, My wife and just purchased a 2005 Terraza and she wants me to remove the 3rd row head restraints. Is there a way to do this? I know that if I fold the rear seats forward, then I can fold the head restraints back, but they will not stay there?

Also on either side of the rear most seats, there is a small 'pocket' with some kind of doo-hicky there, I have no clue what this does.

Finally I have tried to get the DVD to play through the car speakers but cannot for the life of me do so? If anyone can please be so kind as to help out with any advice on these problems, we would appreciate it.

The small black square on the passenger side covers a 110v outlet. The rectangular cover on the drivers side covers a 12v powerpoint. It may also cover an optional tire inflator.

As for playing the DVD through the car speakers, try the CD/AUX button on the radio. I believe that is the one that switches program source.

The "doo-hickey" that is stored in the small pocket slit in the side of the seat back is the seat belt holder clip. It is taken out of the pocket and clipped onto the seat belt whenever it is needed; usually for a shorter adult or teenager so that the seat belt doesn't cut across their neck. The clip keeps the belt lower so it stays comfortably and safely across the passenger's shoulders. You wouldn't want the belt to be across one's neck in case of an impact accident. Our '08 Uplander also has them.
