I test drove two yesterday, the 4 then the 6 at Boch Honda in Norwood, MA, the largest Honda dealer on the planet as they say. I then bought the black EXL V-6 with leather to get the "ivory" beige interior with the wood trim. The other colors do not come with the trim and the lighter interior color with the trim improves the appearance in my opinion. They had no V-6 white or red vehicles which also have the same interior. There were hundreds of silver and metallic gray ones, a few green and blue ones.

The test cars didn't seem that noisy. Today we went on as long trip at higher speeds and we could barely hear each other talk. I am definitely looking into sound proofing as it is really unacceptable to me. Probably cost another $1,000 to do it right. My friend's 2008 Camry is very quiet.

Also the sound quality of the radio is poor. Will have to look into better speakers. I am coming from a 2002 Mazda Millenia S, a class up, which was much quieter, had a better interior and had an excellent Bose sound system. The color of the interiors of the two cars are almost identical.

The Accord seat is very hard in the middle of your back, the built in lumbar support. This car reminds me of our 2000 and 2002 Impalas. Has more safety features and better acceleration and handles better.

BTW, I didn't notice the cylinders changing from 6 to 4 to 3 very much which has been an issue for some of the owners. At 245 miles we had only used 1/2 a tank, will report mileage tomorrow night under the mileage thread.

Hope it's reliability is good as they say but I bought a 100,000 mile 5 year warranty anyway which gave me a lower interest rate. I drive 22,000 miles a year.

Before passing judgment on the radio try a CD that you've liked for it's sound quality. I find that the CD's sound fantastic with the audio adjustment settings pretty much in their neutral positions. The XM radio on the other hand sounds tinny and much less full. If you experiment with the audio adjustments you can get the radio to sound nearly as good as the CD but now that you've boosted all the levels beware the next time you play a CD as it will be way over boosted. I've wished for preset equalizer settings since I bought my 08 EXL-V6, something that used to be quite common but Honda chose not to include this time around.

I have never seen this technology in a Honda; it was quite a commonality on the old GM Theftlock stereos.

Ive used Turtle Wax ICE liquid clay bar, paste wax, liquid wax, and ICE exterior detailer- and can truthfully say they all work excellent (although would say the paste wax is better than the liquid.

As for the interior detailer, I can't say as I haven't used it thus far, but would give it a try considering how good the rest of the product line is.

The ICE wax is easy to apply and remove, but it doesn't last very long. Nu-Finish lasts much longer, but it's not easy, considering all the white dust (especially on a Black car). So it depends, do you want it to be easy, and have to wax more often? Or hard, and less often? I also tried the ICE liquid clay bar, and was not really impressed. I'm thinking about trying the Mother's clay bar next time.

My XM radio does not show the entire name of the long songs or albums. Does yours? I thought it was supposed to scroll to show the entire name. Also, it just shows only one info (name, singer, etc.) until I press the button to alternate manually. I also thought it was supposed to alternate between the singer's name, song name, etc.?

Mine like yours shows incomplete title if they are long, but your question made me seek my manual and I found this:
The display shows up to about 14
characters of selected text data (the
folder name, file name, etc.). If the
text data has more than 14
characters, you will see the first 14
characters and the indicator in
the display. Press and hold the
TITLE button until the next 14
characters are shown.

I've never tried holding the title button, just a quick push to cycle thru it's functions. I'll give it a try when I go out for lunch today and put to use what I've learned. As far as alternating, I've noticed that when a song first comes on from an XM source it does briefly display the artist then remains on the song title. If you switch to a CD it does display the name of the disc before it shows song titles. I try not to get to fixated on the display as I'm usually in considerable traffic. I listened to my first Red Sox game on XM recently and found it very convenient that the display shows innings-outs and other pertinent info that you are usually looking for when you first put a game on, but usually have to wait what seems forever for the announcers to get around to informing you.

Just got my 08 Accord EX-L 4 cyl Sedan a couple of weeks ago. Is there an easy way to turn the daytime running lights off? I haven't really messed around with anything yet but if somebody knows exactly what to do, I would greatly appreciate it!
