hello, i am looking for some info on replacing the drive belts on my car. i have them all apart except for the AC belt. i am looking to replace that as well. any help or info for online shop manuals? thanks eric Replies to this message: owald (Feb 26, 2008 11:36 am)

Truthfully, I started having the same issue as you about that time, but I've been procrastinating on getting the belts done.... until now. No, they are still keeping me going, but I need to get on the ball as they are beginning to crack. I've had the unfortunate pleasure of having my power steering belt snap on me in the middle of rush hour traffic years ago, so I'm not looking to re-live that experience any time soon. Regarding manuals, I've found the Chiltons manuals to be pretty good regarding vehicle repair and maintenance. You can find these in auto stores near you. I opted to get the manual via eBay since someone was selling the book I needed under standard retail. My keyword search was "chiltons nissan pathfinder". If you have any pointers that you'd like to offer since I'm sure you already had your car worked on, please let me know. I'm going to work on my belts in the next couple of weeks.
