I need to get a remote key for my Accord -- bought car used and it came without any remote keys ... I's like to buy from ebay -- is it hard to program it myself? Has anyone done it? Also ... on ebay, I can get a remote key with the key already cut, so listing says I'd have to get a new, uncut key for the remote key. Is this possible? Can I replace the cut key that's in the remote key with another key? Any help would be appreciated. Would love to not have to go to a dealer (I hate their attitudes and prices!).

3 months ago I bought a Certified 05 Accord EXL V6 Coupe.They only had one key for it.I had to have the second key made right at the dealer.They had to cut a new key and it had to be programmed to do all that the key needed to do.It took about 30 minutes and,no you definitely cannot do it yourself.They had to program the new key in the ignition with a computer.
