Those products are known as mop and glow in the trade and are a big profit center for the dealers. Fancy names for wax, and I think they are way overpriced. I don't even bother to wax my cars any more since washing them is good enough. You may want to check your owner's manual and see what it says about paint and body care.
 
The other item to watch out for is fabric protection. You can d-i-y for whatever 3M sells a can of Scotchgard for these days.
