I think if any one Giant had knocked Brady down more than once he'd have gotten the MVP but seven different guys did. Eli got the MVP due to the when in doubt give it to the QB - plus he had a heck of a fourth quarter. He's a great two minute quarterback. Maybe he should run two minute offense all the time.

This weeks SI wrote the Giants upset of the Patsies was the second greatest upset in the history of pro football... behind the Jets SB win over the Colts. Makes for good print , but I didn't think it was much of an upset, call it a mild upset. The Giants had almost beaten the Pats the second to last game of the season. Then they went on the road in the playoffs and won 3 straight times. A remarkable feat. This SB had all the markings of a great game, and it was. Just remember that W-L record coming into the playoffs doesn't equate to who wins the SB.
