I got a great deal last Friday on my 2008 SL AWD Rogue, with moonroof, floor mats, and more at Pohanka Nissan in Fredericksburg, VA. . I dealt with them by email first and after getting the figures went there from Maryland (thru AAA Buying Service which recommended Pohanka) and the deal and figures were exactly the same as in the email. They were very nice, professional and did everything they could to make me happy. What a great place to deal with and what a great car. I love my Rogue. They also gave me the most $ for my trade in. I tried all of the Nissan dealers in the Baltimore, MD and Hanover, Pa area, but this dealer was the best. I have 400 miles on it so far and I just filled up the gas tank and I computed 25 mpg.

I'm in the market for a new Rogue. I'm looking for a S w/ AWD no frills type model. I've been quoted as low as 19,500. Is that a good price? Can I do better? I'm looking to buy this week so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I got my SL AWD, leather, loaded to the gills with every option, for just under $25k, and then spent another $1,000 on moon roof windscreen, rear bumper rubber thingy, rear spoiler, and chrome grill inserts. I am looking at SL 2WD with premium package, bumper protector, and roof rails. The MSRP is $23,905. The invoice is showing as $22,159. I am getting a price of $22,459 on UPromise. Replying to: colfaxwolf (May 14, 2008 3:57 pm) a few hundred one way or another of 'invoice' ought to be about right - it's really strange sometimes that a few hundred dollars (a percentage point or two) makes that much difference to a car buyer - must be an ego thing because that $300.00 difference you are talking about here really doesn't amount to much regardless of how you choose to pay it. Have some friends that travelled almost a thousand miles just to save a few hundred bucks at a 'country' dealer - apparently not understanding that just their hotel bills were more than what they saved or even the values of our own times as we sit in some salesman's office and allow him to play those interminable 'let me take it to the sales mgr.' games- all the price of bragging rights I guess. IMO, the prices of any specific car is more related to supply and demand in a particular part of the country and that most all dealers will pretty much know and meet whatever that price is. Do your research using the internet and you'll find out what the price is - and then you can avoid all the crappola that happens when you have to spend time in the showrooms, but in your case does $300+ make that much difference when you are spending $22 grand?.
