We went shopping on Saturday and picked up our Rogue late last night (always good to close the sale on the last night of the month). Here's my car: Gotham Gray Rogue SL AWD Splash Guards Moon Roof Premium AWD Package Leather Package Floor Mats Rear Bumper Guard Chrome Grill Total MSRP $27,920......Total Invioce $25,678 My Cost.$25,535 + TT&T. This price included destination charges. So not quite as good as your deal. But pretty good, I believe. Very friendly dealer for me: Ardmore Nissan near Philadelphia. Internet sales guy was quick to show his numbers and negotiation process was easy. Here's my wife's new baby parked next to my 4 yr-old Altima:

My wife and I purchased our new Gotham Gray Rogue SL with leather package, moonroof package and splash guards through CarsDirect.com for a total invoice price of $25,000. No haggle, carsdirect.com did the shopping and the dealer is delivering the car to our house. The bumper protector is an extra $60. Do you think this is necessary or a good option to have? I looked at the picture and don't really see how it protects the bumper.

We purchased our Rogue on March 28 in Roswell, the same day as one of the other posters. We also requested internet pricing and received calls from several Nissan dealers around Atlanta. However, our company subscribes us to Sparkfly which is an employee discount site for entertainment, electronics, autos, etc. Sparkly had a listing from Regal Nissan in Roswell Georgia as starting at 1% below invoice on any new car, We met with the internet salesman on Saturday March 21 and test drove Muranos and Rogues. We used the 1% below invoice as the starting part of our negotiations. They quoted us about $500 below invoice after an hour and two visits form the sales manager, but we left and said we had to sleep on it. I test drove several competitors that week (Honda, Mazda, and Rav 4). We have found over the years that a car dealer will always call you a few days later with a better price if you walk the first day. I believe their trends say 90% of the people never come back. Regal Nissan called us Monday and then again Friday and said they would make it worth our while to come back. We came back Saturday March 28, and negotiated an additional savings of $200 on $333 of add-ons (chrome front grill, back bumper cover, and floor mats) I know, floor mats not in the original price is unbelievable. Anyway, we were buying the basic SL 2WD with cloth seats, Splash guards, Moonroof and Premium Package. We felt pretty good about the deal. Since it was their lower end model without leather, I don't believe they had the play below invoice like they do when you get one loaded with leather, etc. I also wrote a review on Edmunds consumer review tonight discussing how pleased I am with the car. |

I just recently purchased a 2008 Nissan Rogue at a deler in St Louis. After 3 visits and numerous phone calls we finally came to a deal on the vehicle the wife wanted. It is the SL AWD version in Iridium Graphite. We got the AWD premium package, roof rails and the cargo options but she did not want the leather. We finally hashed out a deal of $22,250.00 + TTL. There is hope out there if you hold out and are not afraid to walk away from the car a few times.

I am looking at a Rogue SL AWD with premium pkg, leather, moonroof and splash guards with an MSRP of $27700. I also qualify for Nissan VPP pricing Plan D because of the company I work for. Two of the quotes I have gotten come right in at $25400+TTT right at dealer invoice. I'm just wondering if right at invoice would be a decent price right now or are these vehicles still being sold as aggressively under invoice as it seemed in the beginning of the year. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any dealer cash or incentives which would have driven my price down even lower. Here is the Plan D equation: Dealer invoice Minus VPP discount (Nissan 2.87%) Plus dealer added options, Security Plus, Infiniti Extended Protection Plan, etc. Plus 2.5% delivery fee of dealer invoice after VPP discount has been subtracted Plus destination and handling charge Minus applicable incentives Equals participant's purchase price |

Guys, I got an invoice price of 25,800$ for SL, AWD, Premium Package, Leather Package, Moon roof, Rail cross bars, Moon roof deflector, Splash guards, Bumper protector. What do you think? It is a gray exterior and black interior. Do you think they go well?
