Roque SL Purchase in Atlanta by adnips

I'm picking up my wife's new Gotham Gray Rogue SL AWD tomorrow morning. Options included:

Splash Guards
Moon Roof
Premium AWD Package
Leather Package
Floor Mats
Rear Bumper Guard

Total MSRP $27,770......Total Invioce $25,622 Total Cost......$24,521 + TT&T.

$1,101 under invoice....add back in their doc fee of $498 & it's still $603 below invoice!

Dealer also agreed to throw in pin striping, about a $100 value.

I used a fax attack to several dealers in the area. I had a Costco dealer quote me at invoice and a third dealer quoted $440 below invoice but would not budge on doc fee of $489.

You should know that Car Deals, who publish rebate & incentive programs for all vehicles, shows a $600 dealer incentive on the Rogue (right now) if they meet preset sales target. My dealer in Roswell was obviously close and needed the sale this month. He was straight forward and honest about making the deal work and a pleasure to deal with.

I also purchased a new loaded Murano SL that I pick up on Sunday. That eventually came in at $300 below invoice after going back & forth with a couple dealers. But that's a different story.

I found the Rogue easier to deal on than the Murano but business in March has been soft. If you're really looking for the BEST deal, go to www.fitzmall.com and they had Rogues at $600 below invoice and 2009 Murano's up to $800 off invoice. Had I not scored in Atlanta, I was considering making the trip to Chambersburg, PA if needed. In any event, this site has been most helpful so I wanted share my
buying success on the Rogue. While I suspect more deals might follow in April, I'm pleased I found the exact color/options & met my objective to be below invoice on both cars.

Good luck! I hope the cars are as good as the deals.

wow this is really helpful I will check out that website and see if I can negotiate a better deal - end of month is typically the best time right?

Anytime is a good time if you've done some research. The end of most any month should be a good time while business is slow. You just have to find a dealer that needs that one last sale for the month in order to save you some serious money. Keep an eye on these posts, I think you'll find them quite helpful. Good luck.

Wow,

You made a good deal in Atlanta! I'm in Eastern PA. We went shopping on Saturday and picked up our Rogue late last night (always good to close the sale on the last night of the month). Here's my car:

Gotham Gray Rogue SL AWD
Splash Guards
Moon Roof
Premium AWD Package
Leather Package
Floor Mats
Rear Bumper Guard
Chrome Grill

Total MSRP $27,920......Total Invioce $25,678
My Cost.$25,535 + TT&T. This price included destination charges.

So not quite as good as your deal. But pretty good, I believe. Very friendly dealer for me: Ardmore Nissan near Philadelphia. Internet sales guy was quick to show his numbers and negotiation process was easy.

Here's my wife's new baby parked next to my 4 yr-old Altima:

Rogue SL purchase Northern CA by walknbluez

My wife and I purchased our new Gotham Gray Rogue SL with leather package, moonroof package and splash guards through CarsDirect.com for a total invoice price of $25,000. No haggle, carsdirect.com did the shopping and the dealer is delivering the car to our house.

The bumper protector is an extra $60. Do you think this is necessary or a good option to have? I looked at the picture and don't really see how it protects the bumper.

Bumper protector is good. Specially if you like to step on the rear bumper to access the roof or when moving hard objects in and out of the trunk. I personally hate to see scratch line on the bumper.
