I just faxed 6 dealers in the Atlanta market to purchase a new Rogue. Two have already come back with $489 doc fees. Has anyone been able to negotiate this obvious profit enhancer down or have it totally eliminated? Personally, I'm not to excited about paying someone to fill out paperwork to sell me a car. Any help will be appreciated. Adnips |

| Has anyone dealt with internet lease companies like Fleetrates.com, leasedeals.com etc? Or are you better off just going thru a dealer? | |
Hey Car Man, how come there is no "Nissan Rogue Lease Questions" forum like all the other vehicles?

I'm picking up my wife's new Gotham Gray Rogue SL AWD tomorrow morning. Options included: Splash Guards Moon Roof Premium AWD Package Leather Package Floor Mats Rear Bumper Guard Total MSRP $27,770......Total Invioce $25,622 Total Cost......$24,521 + TT&T. $1,101 under invoice....add back in their doc fee of $498 & it's still $603 below invoice! Dealer also agreed to throw in pin striping, about a $100 value. I used a fax attack to several dealers in the area. I had a Costco dealer quote me at invoice and a third dealer quoted $440 below invoice but would not budge on doc fee of $489. You should know that Car Deals, who publish rebate & incentive programs for all vehicles, shows a $600 dealer incentive on the Rogue (right now) if they meet preset sales target. My dealer in Roswell was obviously close and needed the sale this month. He was straight forward and honest about making the deal work and a pleasure to deal with. I also purchased a new loaded Murano SL that I pick up on Sunday. That eventually came in at $300 below invoice after going back & forth with a couple dealers. But that's a different story. I found the Rogue easier to deal on than the Murano but business in March has been soft. If you're really looking for the BEST deal, go to www.fitzmall.com and they had Rogues at $600 below invoice and 2009 Murano's up to $800 off invoice. Had I not scored in Atlanta, I was considering making the trip to Chambersburg, PA if needed. In any event, this site has been most helpful so I wanted share my buying success on the Rogue. While I suspect more deals might follow in April, I'm pleased I found the exact color/options & met my objective to be below invoice on both cars. Good luck! I hope the cars are as good as the deals.
