I love the convenience of the FAST key, it was one of the reasons I chose the Outlander. I have one issue that is obviously a problem with me and not with the system. I am so used to not having to do anything to unlock or start the car now that I forget to press the lock button when leaving the car. I have left it unlocked twice now. Is it possible to program the system to automatically lock the car when the FAST key goes out of range? If you turn off the ignition, then open the door and walk away with the key in your pocket it would be great to be able to have the car automatically lock the doors after 30 seconds or something. There are options in the menu for auto relock and auto relock time, but after reading the manual I think that takes effect if you unlock the car by touching the handle or using the button on the key and then do not open any door within the time period. Does anyone know if there is a FAST key out of range lock function?

Replying to: bodble2 (Jul 05, 2007 3:08 pm) - if you are outside with the fob and you unlock, autolock could relock, as long as you are more then a couple of feet away - if the fob is inside, it should not auto-relock under any surcubstances to avoid lockout...
