My right rear wheel bearing requires replacement and I have been quoted $850 by the dealership. Spending that amount of money is crazy.I noticed that are many non-original replacement parts available for about $60 brand new.Is it worth buying these or is one better of with a used original part? Can anyone make suggestions where I could find an original used part and I believe its an AC Delco part.   Thanks Replies to this message: ray80 (Sep 22, 2007 4:14 am)

Replying to: zabs (Sep 21, 2007 8:31 pm) $850 for one hub/bearing assembly? That is way to much money. Unless there is more stuff being done. It should be in the $300-$350 range installed and less if done by independant place using aftermarket parts.

Replying to: jaydog69 (Apr 11, 2009 2:01 pm) Yes there is, I believe it is a number 94 bulb and costs about 94 cents. Somewhere in one of the topics I have posted a procedure on how to acces and replace, don;t know exactly where though.

I've got an '02 Aztek and now there's a metallic clanging / squealing noise coming from the front right wheel well. Used to be only when turning left, but now even when driving straight. Is this a CV joint gone bad? I've had wheel bearings replaced a long time ago, and there's no shuddering like there was with that... Thanks!
