Front differential vent tube fitting... by cwesleyg

Anyone know what the thread is on Chrysler part 83504653? This is the fitting, probably same part number for various Jeeps, that attaches the vent hose to the front differential. They are notorious for breaking off or falling out. The vent prevents the higher pressure after warm-up from blowing out the axle seals. I want to replace the cheap plastic fitting with a brass version from a hardware store. I know it can be done, but I don't know the thread size of the fitting.

94 XJ electrical problem...need help by angiesxj

I have a 94 Jeep Cherokee with an electrical short somewhere. The engine fan and compressor will not come on yet they work when hot-wired. The OMB is giving me a code of 33 and 35. Can't afford to put it in the shop for 4 hours. We had the exact same jeep a few years ago and it had the same problem. It was found and fixed in 1 hour for 100.00.
Being stupid, we never asked where the short was. Can anybody help me? We have checked all the fuses, none blown...any suggestions?

We had the exact same jeep a few years ago and it had the same problem.

Try calling the person who did the original repair. There's at least a small chance he or she would remember what was at fault and provide you with specifics.

My 01 Jeep GC last week had about 4 ft. of water around and inside it and I am wondering if I have to change the Electrical Wiring Harness or if I have to change the fuses, ISO Relays, and cartridges? What should I do?
