Thanks for your support in this lunacy of a debate. Some people are so loyal to a product or a team that they cannot be objective. I actually ordered my '09 Fit Sport months ahead of time, before even driving it, just based on two criteria: past history with Honda vehicles and the stellar reviews from so many different publications. Road and Track, Car and Driver, and Motortrend all raved about the Fit. US News and World Report's recent exhaustive study of all vehicles in all classes ranked the Fit as #1 in the hatchback category. End of story...

Did I test drive a Fit? Why would I. I already know about how dismal Honda's quality is first hand. I sat in one at a dealership while I was having more work done on my wifes Odyssey. I couldn't imagine being hit by another vehicle while I was in one. It looked like a tin can inside. And I thought the Odyssey had bad fit and finish. The Fit takes it down several notches to purgatory. Go back to the circus with the rest of the plaid suit gold chain wearing Honda salesmen. As if you didn't know, I have already invested in a Honda product. The Honda Odyssey is taking me and my wife right to the poor house (towed behind a wrecker, of course) . Yeah, great investment. Go troll somewhere else.

He's right. Don't believe what you read in most every automative magazine about the Fit because this poster has the better overall indication of Honda quality based on his one purchase, which of course accurately represents the other hundreds of thousands of vehicles Honda sells. Honda will probably go out of business too based on the experience of this Edmunds poster

Dive a Honda Fit? Cool! I didn't know they were submersible!
Look for the Honda Fit to appear in the next Bond movie!

After sitting countless times in Honda waiting rooms, you start talking to the same people that have problems. THE SAME PROBLEMS, that is, over and over again. Like I said before, the only positive opinions on this forum are probably coming from Honda sales people.

Couldn't ask for a better sub-compact. Topped gas tank for the first time ( $1.47.9 per gallon) and the guage read 38.6 mpg for 295 miles city driving. Very comfortable and smooth driving. Got a Tidewater blue and everyone admires looks.
I don't know how Honda could improve this vehicle. Love it.

I prefer to troll here, thank you. As an English teacher, I applaud your use of the language. I was going to badger you with a different meaning of troll, but I'll let it go. Anyway, my wife and I just came back from a 300-mile trip and averaged over 40 MPG in the Fit. Yeah, it will actually be a great investment for us, based on tremendous past experiences with our Civic and Accord. Sorry to hear your minivan was a lemon: my wife's sister still owns her Odyssey -- no problems with over 100,000 miles on it. Before you get back to me with another attack, can you at least check out U.S News & World Report's study of best cars? The Fit is the #1 hatchback out of 22 vehicles, with the last 2 being American cars.
