First Drive: 2009 Honda Fit - Inside the Fit's cabin, it's apparent that quality levels are up, with improved plastics, more supportive seats and a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel. Meanwhile, a new dashboard layout looks softer, reflecting a special effort by stylists to appeal to women. (more)

2009 Honda Fit Sport Full Test - Bottom Line: If only every sequel were so good. It's as if Honda used our long-term test blog about the 2007 Fit as a road map for the 2009 model's improvements. (more)

Coincidence? by pflugfit

It does seem odd. The above prices supposedly do not include destination charge of $670, and if you add $670 to last years price you get the above price. Seems too coincidental that the price from 08 to 09 went up exactly the destination charge.

well the thought is the that Nav (approx $1000) is automatically bundled with VSA (approx $600) so a $1,800 tag to upgrade the Sport line sounds pretty close

I've been reviewing like crazy about this car and its everything I need. Especially for my long commute. I just read an article about the fit and it also had photos comparing the 09 Fit to the 08 Fit. The sport comes with alot of standards that the base model doesn't. The sport comes with an arm rest for the driver, cruise control, controls on the steering wheel, 16" alloy wheels, body colored side mirrors, fog lights, and better safety features. The price for a Fit Sport is $16,060. Base model is around $14,500. The Sport automatic gets 27 city/33 hwy. and the base model gets 28 city/35 hwy.
