Gee, how handy will it be to use one of the cupholders as a spare tire? What are they thinking?!? I guess my search for a teeny car w/Fit features continues at the Toyota dealership. I, too, am on a first-refusal list, in Austin, TX, for a 2009 Fit Sport with manual transmission, and my salesman called last week to give me a manufacturing date (8/25) and a rough idea of when to expect my car (late September/early October). He says he still doesn't know about pricing. If any of you waiting list people gets a price quote, please come back to us here and let us know what it is - regardless of the model. Also, is anyone expecting to have to pay more than the list price? My dealer assures me they don't do that, but I've bought enough cars to know I need to do my homework. As these cars roll in, actual purchasing experience would be very helpful! Thanks.
