Has anyone ever had a rattle in the dash sounding like it's coming from behind the steering wheel? After having my '03 Envoy serviced, I immediately had a new rattle at idle and up to about 35 mph which sounds like something loose and vibrating against the fire wall. When I drove it back to the service department, the shop manager told me my speedometer is going out, and the entire instrument panel would have to be replaced - I don't buy it! It seems too loud for a speedometer and I don't think it would do it at idle if it were. Any help would be appreciated.
