You probably don't want to buy this car. Sebrings don't age well. Electrical and transmission problems are common to this vehicle, especially if the maintenance was not done on a regular basis. Also, from a safety point of view convertibles are less safe than hardtops. If you want the sunshine consider a car with a sunroof. Good luck.

Owned an '01 LXi with 127k miles and head gasket blew two weeks ago. Repair cost was estimated at $1500+... never had a problem before this incident. I donated car to charity and bought an '06. Sad part is, my '88 Horizon ran until I sold it with 155k miles and my '95 Neon died at 152k.
