Honda owners were more steamed about what exactly??? I just pointed out the superiority complex some seem to have on here, going on and on about nonsense issues like 0-60 times, or an extra cog in a tranny, or the "perception" of quality when their blogs are full of problems, year after year. Now that's history and all you have left is attacking base models...oh well. These base models will allow people to get the latest and greatest safety and convenience features, at prices well under other's base minivans.

That was mostly one guy. Yet you put all Honda owners in the same bin. It's really so base . As far as the Edmunds article it sounds dead on to me. Honda drives better and the DC van have more stuff. Most that I would never need, but some people can't live without(The way some people talk on here if you don't have a power lift how do you get into the back on the van?? ). But I'm sure within a year they will be a great value. I love all the new safety content. Hope the crash tests are good.

No, actually I'm an easy sell because I know how good Chrysler minvans are, having had 3 trouble free ones, having friends that have owned nothing but Chrysler minivans year after year since 1984. The warrantly just shows Chrysler's confidence in their new products.

Lets look at the numbers for 2006.

Honda worldwide sales 3.55 units. Honda warranty cost 960 million dollars.

DCX worldwide sales 4.7 units. DCX warranty cost 6.1 billion dollars. Houston we have a problem! 32% more car sales yet 635% more warranty costs. Now I know Mercedes had some issue(to say the least BUT!!)Also the Chrysler Group lost 1.1 billion dollars last year. Thats with 10 new cars that came out. How long can you last doing that??

And like 300 other places. Also they didn't lose 6.1 billion(that warranty cost for DCX last year)I stated above the Chrysler group lost 1.1 billion. Thats still more than Honda paid out in all their warranty work even with all those recalls.

Dang I almost forgot to place this here!! A recent acticle had recalls by manufactured in 2006 cars. Guess what the Chrysler group(Not all of DCX). Recalled 2.3 million cars. Honda 1,397. Now take into effect that Honda built more cars than Chrsler group by over a million cars. The recall isn't my standard for auto quality. Can anybody recall who's standard it is

No More Honda In my driveway by dvsutton

I have a 05 Honda Odyssey. Everyone that post a problem, I had it with mine too. The Transmission went out at 10,000 miles and AGAIN at 18,000 miles. Both rebuilds took 2 weeks while parts were shipped in from Japan. Sliding doors almost fell off their tracks while my daughter was opening them. A/C compressor went out and had to be "shipped" in from Japan. Front rotors replaced because of warping. Radio stations in any area but wide open spaces on the freeway were nill. Hondas dashboard creaked and moaned over any slight bump in the road.
I previously had a 2000 Town & Country with only one problem. The rear spaeker went out on it. It was replaced at the dealership the VERY SAME DAY. I guess they were not waiting for the UPS shipment from Japan. I will be buying a new Town & Country next. I could give a damn how much Honda pays off Edmunds and Motor Trend with expensive trips to Southern California, for favorable reveiws. I'm not buying it anymore. The negative slant against Chyrsler is so evident in the article it makes me sick to even own a HONDA anymore (along with ALL OF THE PROBLEMS that go with it). I have already convinced two of my friends to trade their Hondas also. They are sick and tired of "living" at the Honda dealership for repairs to be done.

Nine post whomever you are?? One the forum 3 months and now you have a problem. Actually all the problems.

Looked at your other posts said nothing about a Odyssey but it did mention Honda vs Chrysler

Here it is

You have got to be kidding! A $30,000 ricer Honda? And still slow? I bought a 04 Dodge SRT 4 and saved $10,000 for upgrades. I can't wait to put some moron out of his misery in a stoplight drag.

Moron?? stoplight drag LOL Are you 15??

So you had a 2000 T&C must have loved it alot to only own it around 5 years. I've had my subaru for almost 8 years probably will own it 2 or 3 more. All the rest of your post just sounds like bad mouthing and inuendos. The tone of this post sounds familiar. I wonder

How long you own a vehicle has nothing to do with how much you like it. Lives change. Priorities change. For example, I loved my sporty 4-door sedan, but it just doidn't work for tall people and reverse facing child seats (not to mention $800/year in tires and premium fuel).

What's the Problem? It seems like a lot of Honda sales people are trolling this forum and getting their feathers ruffled. Why don't you just own up to the fact that my wifes HONDA is a P.O.S? Evedently your service department won't admit it either. Seems like you're all brainwashed.
