You stated that the Caravan had a nicer ride but you were tired of buying transmissions. Things have changed but weren't you aware of the lifetime powertrain warranty that is now included on practically every Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicle? The transmission is part of the powertrain. |

I don't know about you, but if I bring a car in for a repair, I don't wait around for it. No matter the make or model, it usually takes hours. If I'm bringing it in for an oil change or a tire rotation, I'll wait. I'd say the same thing, by the way, if someone was trying to claim that Dodge vans are unreliable because the waiting rooms at Dodge dealers are full. Its just a silly argument.

I will never buy another Honda product, and will tell my story to everyone who is even considering one, to warn them that HONDA QUALITY IS A SHAM!

After 5-10 minutes in the Toyota, I started experiencing lower back pain. I test drove the Honda for two days and on the second day, the same results. I drove the T&C and have experienced no pain. The Honda drives like a sports car, where the T&C has the floating sensation. There is a lot more vehicle in front of you, which is nice to have if you are involved in and accident. It also has more features for less $$ than either of the other 2. I will agree that cheaper materials goes into the van, but remember Chrysler has union workers, so the have to use cheaper materials, so they can pay someone $40/hour to screw on lug nuts. Had Honda built a comfortable vehicle, I would have gone with it. Regardless of what they say, the Oddesy gets around 14/mpg (highway and city combined) and they have a history of transmission problems. Chrysler guarantees theirs for life. Let's hope they are around to stand behind it.

For me, the Odyssey has THE most comfortable seats for all 6 passengers and driver and the best designed dash/instrument cluster to prevent glare from sunlight. |

It sucks to buy a brand new car and make those payments every month for a car that is not reliable and safe. We are waiting on Honda to schedule their "final chance fix" and will see where it goes from there.
