Replying to: thegraduate (Dec 23, 2008 11:56 pm) Shows that EVERY brand had built a lemon.   My 2006 Sienna LE has 26,424 miles and does NOT appear to be a lemon but I still do NOT like it as well as my former 2002 Chrysler T&C LX. With Toyota, you pay more but get less.

Replying to: dvsutton (Dec 22, 2008 10:43 pm) I've got an 04 Ody with around 60K and haven't had any of those problems. In fact, I'm still on the original brakes as well. Some of the older vans had a transmission problem, but Honda stepped up to the plate as long as the vehicle was maintained and replaced them out of warranty. Sure wasn't my experience with Ford and a Windstar with the known problems like engine gaskets. You can certainly get a bad car from any maker, but yiou need to look at two things: 1. Does the company stand behind its products and 2. what is the probablility compared to the competition.

How the mods still allow this is baffling.   The Caravan and the Ody are both good choices, the newer Caravans seem to be fine as far as quality and dependibility go and the Odyssey has had it's bumps but is still a solid choice. Replies to this message: hansienna (Jan 16, 2009 4:58 pm)
