Looking at all three, however thought the Accent was nice. Historically I understand folks have to go in for constant service . Would like to hear from '07 owners.

hi- I am wondering how you did on your search. I just got an 07 Accent this week. I set out to drive the Yaris, the Fit, and the Accent. The Yaris was ok, but after driving the accent, I didnt even bother with the Fit...

You are fortunate that you get the smaller 1.4L engine on the Accent. In the U.S. we get only the 1.6L engine, which does not have as good of fuel economy as the Fit or even the Corolla.

Hi pj2288...Did the same as you. Testing several cars, I quickly got a v. good Accent deal & bought it for my wife with her happy approval. But I should have driven a Fit & even a twin clutch Volkswagen even tho they would have cost $3000+(?) more than the Accent. My wife's Accent better come close to the theoretical Fit emissions & MPG.

One thing I note. Tho the Fit,Yaris & Accent are v. close to the same exterior width, the Accent has much better interior front & back shoulder width(by 1 to almost 3 inches!) than Yaris or Fit! I immediately noticed on my Accent test drive, that Accent has only 1 inch less interior shoulder width than my Dodge Caliber, a much bigger car. I like very small cars generally, but also like the extra Accent width v. much. My wife will like it too, since she is an artist & always packing art supplies around.

Follow-up on my wife's manual 2008 Accent. She averaged 33 MPG thru a long winter & tough commute. I drove it on trips over mountain passes as high as 5500 feet & got 41.5, 42.6, & 45.2 MPG. Accent performs 100% without one squeak, creak, or rattle! Accent is every bit worth its money at 9000miles.
