Can someone post the March lease figures for the Jag? I know they are trying to get some good buzz on this car, so hopefully the lease deals will be somewhat attractive.....

I put a $1000 deposit down and my car arrives tomorrow. premium luxury + options. about 58,500 out the door. Was told today $5k drive off about $1000 a month (taxes included). I am not that happy since my salesman told me that Jag was bringing this car in to compete with the BMW 5 or MB E class. How does a 59k BMW 5 = $2500 drive off and $800 a month payment.
The salesman told me they were disapointed with the figures and were shopping out the lease to other banks. Does this happen?

Needs AWD and V-6 by 01jagman

I think the new Jag looks great inside and out; however in order to compete with BMW and Audi, it simply must offer AWD and a lower priced V-6 option. My wife drives an A6 quattro, and if the Jag offered AWD, we would definately consider it for our next car. RWD in NW Indiana just isn't practicle...

A Southern California dealer quoted me $3000 down with $930/month plus tax on a supercharged MSRP of $65k. I told him if he can give it to me for $900 including tax with ZERO down I would sign the paperwork. He told me that he could not do it. I am preapproved for $70k for a 72 month auto loan at 4.99% fixed with ZERO down and my payments are $1122/month. I guess I can always go that route and then sell my car after 3 years. Thoughts? Thanks.

All of you are looking at the wrong car if you're trying to be picky about lease payments. The XF has been out all of 2 weeks.

The XF is not going to be as cheap as a BMW 5 series that has lots of dealer incentives & cash to give you low subsidized lease payments.

I'm sure the bean counters Jag want to see how sales go the first several months.
As a whole, Jag's have never really leased out that well. The XF's are going to attract a bit younger buyer that's cross shopping 5 series, E classes , A6 and such. I think you'll probably see a lease advertised sometime by Jag in the future, but don't expect it to be a giveaway deal.

Decent Deals..... by random987

I realize we are not going to get incredible lease deals. I was hoping for something "reasonable" especially given that the 535i leases are so good right now and Jaguar is really trying to save itself through the XF.

Finally had the opportunity to drive a supercharged model, and passed on the opportunity to purchase it (it was their launch vehicle in Vapour Gray). I see a lot of discussion on lease rates, but has anybody skimming this folder actually made a purchase? Too early to pay anything below MSRP?
