On Jag's UK website, there are details about the Portfolio and the XFR models, among others. I wonder how much of that we'll get over here.

I think that we will get both of them. They were introduced at the Detroit auto show, and the Jaguar site made the following announcement:
XF and XFR 2010 MY
The XF has already received a number of accolades from major automotive publications worldwide, so the new XFR, a new high performance engine and a host of changes for the 2010 Model Year, including the launch of the new luxurious 'Portfolio' model, will make the XF an even more attractive proposition.

Yes I agree, both will be available at dealers. But the point I am making is that the XF Supercharged has the best of both of them and is the best buy. Any body wanting an XF should consider the current supercharged model before it is no longer. The logic is simple, if you were to get the portfolio you will only get a non supercharged 385 hp engine, and you will not get active suspension and full dynamic drive modes. These will be available only in the XF R. But you can get them now in the Supercharged model at a bargain price. You will also get 420 hp (more powerful than the portfolio) and you will get the contrast stitching (which is portfolio only option) if you get the spice interior (which is the best). So unless you must have the ugly XF R, get the XF SC, it fills the niche between the portfolio and the R and will disappear in few months.
I took the plunge, but I am no longer disappointed.

I have heard that there is a limit to the number of contacts that can be uploaded onto the Jaguar for Bluetooth.....Do you know if this is true and what the limit is?

Yeas, there is a limit and it is stated in the owner's manual. I think it was about 150. I had to purge my iPhone of contacts I haven't called in months.

Because Tata is a privately held company they are not required to, and therefore do not provide individual model sales results.
I have seen more of them popping up in metro Atlanta over the last few weeks.

"The new Jaguar XFR will start at 80K. Not sure what the options will be but with a few options added to the price. It could top over 85K which is 20K more than the current XF SC so the price will not be the same as the 420HP version. Google it if you do not believe me "
Looks like there really are no options...
$80K is it.

I got two Jaguar XF, my car's wife after 500 miles the transmission differential star whining and the RPM become crazy after star they goes to 3500 RPM and i have to stop the engine, well I took the car to the Dealer and they fix the RPM problem, the differential need to be replaced is leaking oil bit there is no parts available nether UK or US so my wife car has 16 days in the dealer in Miami with no tentative day of shipping the differential from UK...........................so this is very sad I love this car but how come you do not have a part for a car broken after 500 miles????. If you drive your XF over 65m/hr and you heard a whining noise get ready no parts available.
one more thing navigation software sucks
