Sure...no problem....brought the car here in the northeast....PA/DE area. Listed for $64.4 and I got $3K off of that price. Not sure if that is a great deal relative to what is going on w/the car industry today....sure I could have gotten more discounted price off of MB, Lex, Infinity or BMW...but really did a lot of research and liked the Jag....think they are agressive on price on non SC versions but my sense is that they are not steeply discounting the top of the line SC models....perhaps I am wrong but would not mind hearing others weight in....

I am interested in a possible lease or buy on the XF premium luxury model with nav, sirius, cold climate package.

Does anyone think they negotiated a good deal ...if so would could you post what you think a fair deal on a buy and lease would be.

There are some posts in our new Jaguar XF Lease Questions discussion that may help you. If not, that's the best place to ask.

Good luck!

Hi
I switched from Cadillac to Jaguar. 2 days ago i placed a down payment on XF SV8 (Super Charged, loaded except for the dynamic cruse control). I am putting the balance of the payment tomorrow and would take delivery on Sunday or Monday. I was so excited and could not wait to move into the Jag and sell off the 2003 CTS.

But then the bomb shell.... the SV8 has been discontinued (not will be, but, has been). The car is not even a year on the market and now it is discontinued for the R type.

Let me put things in perspective, I love in Saudi. And unlike in USA web site which still features the SV8 and mention the R as 2010 model, the UK and all other intentional sites and brochures have dropped all mention of the SV8 (SC in USA) and are only listing the R and are also listing the Portfolio. This sucks.... The car has been on sale here only since August, now it is dead, and I had just bought a last year car, even though it is sold as 2009 model !!!!

I do not know what to do.... cancel the deal and recall my down payment? The problem is the new R fascia is ugly, and I would not buy the Portfolio because it has less power than the SV8.

Really do not know what to do now. The only other car I like if I canceled the Jaguar deal is the CTS v. But I really love and can not wait to take home the XF, it feels more sophisticated than the CTSv.

For comparison sake, the cost paid here is $65,978, this total cost including licensee, registration, no fault insurance, and sales tax (which is 0%). Hw dose that compare to total delivered cost in USA? Warranty is 5 years 155,000 miles.

For 2010... by joeshan

Greetings, all. I'm in a G35X now, and I'm thinking of moving up to the LPS segment next time around (in a year or two). I'm currently researching/obsessing over the A6 3.0 quattro (Prestige) and the XF (nod to laurasdada) Premium Luxury. Equipped the way I want, they are priced within three grand (MSRP) of each other.
Now, according to the Jag website, in 2010, there will be a new 5.0 V8 with 385 hp. that will get 25 mpg combined in the Portfolio model.
That's similar to the A6's mileage, but with 85 more hp.
Decisions, decisions.
Now, if Jag would offer AWD...
If these two become too expensive, I might check out the A4 2.0q, a la markcincinnati.
Don't get me wrong; my Infiniti is fine-it will be my daughter's first car in two years.
But the mileage (not great), and the boy-racer ride of the new ones has kinda got me thinking about getting a more genteel ride next time. I might even lease, also.
Oh well.
