mine is the luxury edition and one of the first built since I picked it up at the beginning of April and not the supercharged. The dealer has been for the most part responsive in letting me know that they do not have it figured out yet. I get a call saying that they are trying to solve it with the help of the Jaguar field rep. Honestly I think they just can't figure it out yet, and since it has been almost 20 days I have my doubts to whether they ever will. All I know is that as excited as I was about this car, this has been the biggest disappointment I have ever had. I have had two Jags , three Mercedes, one BMW along with the chrysler 300 and this is the most problem I have ever had in a vehicle. I know there are owners that have not had this problem and I am happy for them, because I am a car nut and I was incredibly excited about this car. As much as I was excited I am at the other end of the spectrum- totally disheartened and just wishing I had not bought one.

They were very professional + easy to deal with. Of course, you need to know exactly what you want, must have, + can live without. It is always a compromise between what is available and what you want. I think you'll get a good deal and respectful treatment.

I leased my XF. I removed the stock 18" wheels and I replaced them with 20" chrome wheels and low profile tires. I had to shop around a bit to find a wheel that would fit the car. I was told that the brake calipers were larger than normal and I needed to find a wheel that would fit. Many of he wheel shops had not seen the car and tehy did nto have a wheel that would fit. I immediately noticed an improvement in the ride once I removed the stock run flat tires. I am very happy with the new chrome wheels and they really improved the looks and ride of the car. I took the original 18" wheels and tires and put them in storage. I will replace them when I turn the car in after 39 months.

I just got on this blog to see if anyone has experienced the problem(s) I am having with my Jaguar XF Supercharged and I found your blog. I bought my Supercharged August 3. Since then the engine malfunction light has been on 3 times. It was serviced twice and is now at dealer for a 3rd time. I called Jaguar Customer Service and was not given the option of a new car, they said I have to go through the AutoCap or BBB first to address this. I also have cosmetic issues and wind noise but have not even addressed these as the engine malfunction light is so concerning to me. Basically it's been there a week now and so far the mechanic has not resolved. Let me know what is going on with your car and if they finally fixed and how. I also have creaking and wind noise.

I had the engine malfunction light problem. Immediateley brought it to the dealership and they said there was a software update (they call it a "flash")- they did the update and all is fine. Has not happened again (it's been 2 weeks).
Also, had lots of creaks and squeaks and it took a full day, but they were able to fix that too (I did not think they would but I was pleasantly surprised).IMO a lot has to do with the dealership. If the dealership handles some really high end cars (like Aston Martin, Porsche, etc) they are geared to better and smarter mechanics. At my dealership, Jaguar is the low end car.

yeh, the first time the dealer did the software update. a couple days later, l engine malfunction light on, took back again and they said engine misfires and cleaned fuel enjectors then a couple days later back on again, now it's been at the dealer since last thursday and they are still trying to find issue and dealing with tech support at jaguar as well. Creaks and Squeaks I could live with but this is not good. thanks for your message!

How many months is the lease for? And what is the breakdown of the 2900?
