Lease rates by mssurrey

The lease rates are truly aweful for this vehicle at this time. It seems Jaguar are not interested in leasing and are not supporting the vehicle at this time. Perhaps they have enough sales and aren't interested in capturing further market share. Or perhaps they simly don't want to lease at this time (but they're not supporting purchases either???)

It looks like I'm going back to MB!

I agree - they have absolutely no lease or buy incentives. I think the transition to new ownership has not helped. I love the car, especially the twin turbo model, but with no incentives these are cars are not going to move in this economy.

Try contacting luxurynation.com (owned by autonation) - ask for Mike. He gave me a great deal on an XF + delivered to my door (300 miles away). He cannot change the residuals or mf, but he can work with you on cap cost - btw, jaguar finance does not give good mf rates compared to bank. Give them a call or an email.

Wantabentley,

Thanks for the heads up - I'll try Mike
What was the deal you got (if you don't mind me asking)?
What model was it, options, cap cost, monthly lease rate, terms etc....

I was ready to buy an xf and then I started reading all the reports about creaking and noises and people trying to get their cars exchanged for the lemon law. Is the car really as bad as some people are saying or is it just a severe case of buyers remorse ?

Has anyone exchanged their stock wheels for chrome or polished wheels?

I am one of the posts you are talking about. I loved everything about the new XF- the style, performance etc. But after 2500 miles my car developed a severe creaking noise that happens every time you turn into a driveway that makes the car go on an uneven surface. So far the car has been in the shop almost 3 weeks and after replacing door seals and a clip behind the sunroof , and I am not sure what else they have replaced, and the car still is making the noise. I am giving them every opportunity to resolve the situation, but I do feel it is a problem with some welds when it was manufactured. I am not saying all XF's have this but a few others I have talked with have experienced the exact problem. All I know is that this is a brand new vehicle and the noise is unbelievably annoying-way beyond some simple minor rattle. Trust me if you heard this car you would never buy it. I do not know the outcome , but in my opinion Jaguar should take this car back and tear it apart to find out what happened. I am severely disappointed because I have wanted this car since I first saw it. I will happily post the resolution to this. I am giving them every chance to make it right, but I will never accept a car that has a flaw as bad as this.

Thanks for your reply. I wonder if the noises are only a certain trim level like the supercharged version or maybe one of the first ones built? Do you know when yours was built and what trim level or wheels does it have. Have they been courteous with you when trying to reslove the problem?
