I have the Premium Lux. Pearl grey with charcoal.....Beautiful. Well I am starting to get those famous annoying glitches.
1) interior lights don't go on and off when I open the door
2) drivers side seat adjustments stopped working
3) two of the four front door speakers stopped working
4) the glove compartment stopped opening
Don't get me wrong, I love the car and feel confident the dealer will take care of these things.
We'll see

Ruh roh. The Prince of Darkness rears its ugly head...
Seriously, hopefully just a minor glitch that the dealer can fix expediently. Jag has been so highly rated in customer satisfaction the past few years that I'd have to believe that they'll take care of you.
Keep posting. I'm hoping for an XF (within the realm of possibilities) or an XK (unreasonable, but never say never) in the next couple of years...

Hi PJ sounds like you got a great deal. How long is the lease for? and how many miles/year? and most of all how do you like the car?
Just for laughs. Did you lease your jag last Saturday July 19th? Because I was at North Scottsdale Jag checking out the Black XF out front and saw a young guy maybe you, getting into a blue XF. Too funny if it was you. LOL!!!

Problem with XF

Well, the problems are showing up. The engine malfunction light has come on three times since March. The first two times service put on over 600 miles in test drives. Plus the car was in two other times for a defective windshield and the sound pack for seat belts and turn signals. They just completed the third malfunction but now have to work on drivers door for wind and will not close all the time. Five service calls in five months and 1000 miles additional...not happy.
Jaguar Customer Service has offered another car. The GM of the dealership(North Scottsdale) has offered the same.
I want a buyout and walk away. Very upset and extremely disappointed. Anyone else in the same situation? Any help is welcome.

That was me. The 2 lease options were 48 months or 39 mos. The 48 month would of been like $690. I opted for the 39 at $711. 12k per year. Excess mileage is only 18 cents. The 2006 M, I got out of was 20 cents a mile and the 2008 I almost got into before I got the deal at Jag was 25 cents for excess mileage. I like the car alot. I'll admit I loved the Infiniti M I was in and its taken some time to get use to some of the differences between the two. (No sunglass or change/card holder in the Jag) However I do love the attention I get driving the Jag. I had a motocycle cop pull along side and give me a thumbs up. See Gavin, I believe he's an internet or fleet manager, they are able to give better deals because they want to move cars. I've dealt with Lexus, & Infiniti and Gavin at Jaguar has been the most straight forward person I've dealt with. The car sells itself. You don't need a salesperson telling you how many airbags the vehicle has you want someone who can get you in the car financially. I believe Gavin's your man. Let me know what happens just don't pick the same color.

That was you too, funny. My wife was worried about the space. so I wanted to check out the trunk space and sit in the back seat where my 2 boys will be sitting. Did your car have chrome wheels. and if so was that extra or thrown in?
Do you think its big enough for a family car? boys are 6 and 8. I still have 4 months left on my lease(Navigator). They wont let me out of it early (gee I wonder why). You could'nt see the cops face (dark visors in scottsdale) I'm sure he was saying >>I'm going to get yah> My wife said I can have any color I wanted as long as it was BLACK<< She's very FORD like.

The trunk is huge. Larger than the Infiniti M. Plus the back seats fold down for additional storage if necessary. Not an option with the M. Back seat room was an issue with me too. I have 3 girls and I think it's going to work. The M has a little more leg space than the Jag but it's definitely larger than either the Lexus GS or ES 350 and slighty more roomy than BMW and Mercedes. I think it will work as a familly car. I'm getting great gas mileage, better than the M. I prefer white myself but my wife said I needed to get some more color in my life. When I began shopping I had 2 months left on my lease and had some dealers offer to pay my last payments, I just wasn't in a rush to give it in early because I really did love my M and did plan on leasing an 08, until I saw the jag and saw that it was financially feasable. I just had to put an extra $1000 down and $11 a month and I was driving a 2009 jag instead of a 2008 infiniti M35. Didn't get chromes, but wish I did. The cars in the showroom all had chromes and man did they look sharp.

I was in a similar situation with a BMW and accepted a replacement. Replacement car has no problems whatsoever. I would give Jaguar another chance.
