I'm not an Insight owner, but what you're describing sounds very much like what happened on my Altima when I had a bad fuel injector

Replying to: dalorian (Aug 27, 2007 3:52 pm) had same thing happen to my 2000 insight. first time the dealer had the car for a month and replaced the injectors, o2 sensors, plugs, and ecm. finally fixed. then had the ecm replaced recently on recall and same problem but the dealer had it next day and said they had to reset the computer
