Does anyone else with a 2007 Outlander here a noise when turning? It's not a clunk like some others have described. It's more of a low pitched hissing, if that makes any sense. It's more noticeable at low speeds and when turning left. I'm hoping it's just tire noise but it's unlike anything I've heard before. Mine's an LS with the Yokohama Geolander tires.

| I pick up my new 07 Outlander XLS today and I'm psyched! Although I must admit you guys are scaring me a little with the "wind noise" and front knock that read about here. Looked at the CRV and RAV4 and the Mitsu just seemed like the best buy for the buck. Now as long as the company remains in the US I'll be all set. The Mitsu seems more powerful and more SUV like than the CRV and RAV4 (it really doesn't seem like it belongs in the compact SUV class). Also drove a Sante Fe which didn't impress me. I think I got a fair deal on the Outlander ($700 off sticker) and a fair price for my trade (Subaru Outback). The dealership has been okay to deal with, nothing outstanding. The Outback has had nothing but problems and it seems like my check engine light goes on every other week. I hope I have better luck with the Outlander and this is my first Mitsu. Does anyone know if the dealership addresses any TSB's when they are prepping the car to go out of the door? I'm thinking of the wind noise. Or do they just let it go and hope there isn't a problem? My guess is they don't address any issues and just clean the car, etc. The posts in this forum have been informative - thanks! | |

From my experience, the dealers don't do any TSB upon delivery unless you specifically ask. Of course the "wind noise" debate still remains, but it has nothing to do with the TSB. Please post back your impressions. |
