What is this discussion about? Honda Accord, Coupe, Sedan

First Drive: 2008 Honda Accord Sedan - The '08 Accord strikes a familiar balance of performance, value and efficiency. But this time it's not bland. (more)

First Drive: 2008 Honda Accord Coupe - An oddly sexy Honda Accord with the heart of, well, a Honda Accord. (more)

Full Test: 2008 Honda Accord EX V6 - At the test track, the new Accord hit 60 mph in 7.1 seconds and ran the quarter-mile in 15.5 seconds at 91.8 mph. That's a solid improvement over the Accord in our last V6 Family Sedan Comparison Test, but it's still well behind the Camry V6 that whomped to 60 in just 6.5 seconds and scorched the quarter in 14.6 seconds at 97.3 mph. (more)

Long-Term Test: 2008 Honda Accord EX-L V6 - With every new generation of a vehicle as popular as this, questions are raised, even more so in a segment as fiercely competitive as the family sedan market. Has Honda gone too far in an effort to spice up its volume offering, aspired to too much sophistication? (more)

I don't like to spend $2k to get Bluetooth.

College Hills Honda sells the Bluetooth Accessory for $388. Fits in all honda trims.

Your assumptions are often true, but in the case of the Magnum, the OEM suspension is too supple and the OEM 225/60R18 tires (99) are too soft and undersized. Most cars going from 18" to 22" wheels would indeed suffer from a harsh ride, but the rigid 265/35WR22 tires (102) combined with the supple OEM suspension produces a vehicle with responsive handling AND a pleasant ride. (For 2008 the Hemi Magnum has moved up to 245/45VR20 tires, but they are still only (99).)

Good to hear. I've haven't ridden in the LX platform Chryslers, so I didn't know the characteristics. Typically, more unsprung weight and bigger tires make things jarring in bumpy roads.

Do a search for "Blueant" and you will see a stand alone unit that works just great for around 100 bucks!

Are you happier with the Azera's 3.8 not doing what the Camcord's 3.5's can do in terms of power and speed?

Is this an error in the article?

...but the biggest problem is the Accord's engine electronics. With the standard VSA stability control turned off, the Accord's computer doesn't allow full-throttle acceleration until about 20 mph.

Doesn't he mean VSA on?

I don't think it's an error. If the VSA is on it will prevent wheel-spin at full throttle. With VSA off, the computer will prevent wheel-spin and probably torque steer by preventing full throttle. Just a guess, not sure.

There is an email link right beside the author's name in all articles. Use that to ask about errors, or ask about anything. We hosts won't be able to answer those kinds of questions.
