I wish someone would have told me about the problems before I bought my 2007 2500 diesel.I bought it used with 21kmi. Love the truck but The check engine light came on at about 22kmi, found out that the particle filter was clogged up.the light came on again with 24kmi and found out the turob had to be replaced(I lookup how much they cost,$2k) all this talk about no short trips, running the eng at hi rpms, push it on the freeway for about 45min at 75mph to blow out the carbon is BS.The only reason I bought this 6.7 was becuse I had an older 5.2 diesel which I wish I had.I know that theres other people out there with worse problems and would like to know when this is going to stop?? OR how did you fix it??

Well, the easy fix takes about $500 in parts (just do a good search on Dodge DPF Delete Kits), and about 3-4hrs of install time under the truck, and you will find several reputable fabricators that make them.. my favorite is H&S. If you combine that that kit with the Edge Juice w/ Attidude, and unplugging of the EGR, your engine will last like it supposed, you wont fry turbos, you wont soot up the intake, and you will gain 3-5mpg, as well as 50-70hp, and 100+lbs of torque, and its only about 10-15% louder than stock. =)
